I love the art! This is a really nice relaxing game, something I think would be great to play on something like mobile! I do how the petting hand speeds up and slows down depending on how long it's held down, and how the bunny sprite changes depending on if you've gained affection. The music is cheery and upbeat and lends itself really well to this game
I really enjoy this game as a little thing to do. It feels like it would fit perfectly as a minigame into another project like a virtual pet game maybe *wink wink*.
The art style is very nice and makes me feel safe and cozy. The audio is a little loud I think and seems a little strange when compared to the concept.
Also, the dual bar system you have feels a little strange and doesn't quite explain the goal and mechanic of the game super well. I'd look at that and think about how to convey the "pet for a while but not too long" concept to the player. Maybe the bunny could emanate a stream of hearts while being pet but they slowly stop and change to skulls to show that the bunny is getting tired of being pet.
I really loved the art! Like the others mentioned the color palette and theme work so well together, and the music does an excellent job of complimenting it all. However, I was rather confused about how to play at the start. When I first saw the bars, I had assumed the pet bar was how many more pets I'd be able to give, and while I was eventually able to figure it out, it does feel odd that the command to pet was shown down at the bottom right corner of the screen when it's a main mechanic. I wonder if it would be clearer if the pet bar was displayed horizontally above the bunny and the pet command displayed below that, right in the center of the screen. Overall though it's an absolutely adorable game! I couldn't think of a better reward for winning than cute bunny videos :D
Your game is so cute! The color soft pallet fits perfectly and the animation and feedback of the hand is really nice. I personally wish it felt a little bit more interactive though. There was a disconnect for me between holding down the space and watching the hand repetitively stroke the bunny. The two interaction just didn't seem line up in my head. I wanted to do more ? Or feel at least more like I was the one doing the petting. I also think your drawings of the bunny are really great and I wanted to see them more in response to changes in the game. Like "oh no I stopped gaining affection she's falling asleep! I need to be gentler! etc." a little bit more tension and ability to fail ? not sure if that's the feel you want but I think it could potentially add to the draw of the game. The immediate game over screen felt so sudden. In the end it was fun. Great work altogether!
First things first: this is an absolutely adorable package. The soft color palette, the hand drawn art style, the pace of the petting animation, the music, the incredible video reward, it all culminates in a heartwarming bunny experience. That being said, I think more could've been done to get across the game mechanics. On my first attempt, I assumed I'd have to hold and release the space bar with some sort of timing. When the hand first started speeding up, I was worried I'd hurt the bunny and receive a lower friendship rating, so I assumed that was when I was meant to release the space bar. If I knew I had to wait until the game told me to release the bar, I would've been able to see that amazing video sooner. More importantly (debatably), I think the game could've been more fun if there was more variation in when the player was meant to hold and release the space bar. Maybe the speed at which the gauge would increase or the size of the gauge could vary from pet to pet, and you'd have to adapt to properly massage Cha Cha. Otherwise, I think the game definitely achieved its aesthetic goals, and I had a good time earning Cha Cha's friendship.

Thanks for your comment, Jordan! I agree that more mechanics could be added to make it fun!
